Let's review:

-Believe what you will of Barack Obama, wheather he is an American or not or whether he is a good president or not, there is no denying that he firmly and publicly set his face against the fanatical march to war with Iran (which would lead inevitably to a wider global conflict). Ha! So much for being the Illuminati puppet that will start the third World War!

-According to the doomies, by this time we were all to have been rotting in FEMA camps in the wake of a engineered total financial collapse, ruled over by a newly mustachioed ÜberFürher Obama. So far, so good…Why? Because FEMA camps never existed in the first place!

-A 911-scale false flag event(ofc many of the more conspiratorial doomtards believe that 911 was an inside job!), widely predicted by doomsayers, such as a massive internet hacking by the Illuminati posing as terrorists, the destruction of the outdated carrier U.S.S. Enterpise in the Persian Gulf, or the explosion of a nuclear weapon during the London Olympic Games, did not take place. Why? because they were never thought of in the first place!

-Niburu (whatever that was supposed to be exactly) did not come blundering into our orbit, spelling the end of civilization. Because it, and the so-called "aliens" living on it did not exist! If it did it would have been seen in the sky

-A Carrington Event-class X-solar flare or CME did not return us to the Stone Age, and the satellite grid continues to make cell phones, the internet, and global electronic banking possible.

-Tsunamis, megaquakes, and phony alien invasions – all featured as so-called "highly likely" 2012 catastrophes – did not occur, and humanity continues to somehow manage to survive as a living (if screwed up) conscious being of dazzling variety. Why? because these disasters were not likely at all. I bet the doomies used the Japanese Earthquake last year and Hurricane Sandy this year as a precedent(in fact, they were posting fake pictures hyping up the "Frankenstorm", as well as picture of New York underwater and sharks swimming in there, and indeed, it never happened at all!

-There were no Pledians, or any alien invasions by reptilians for that matter.

-No mass ascension of "good people"

-The Illuminati coup that was apparently actively planned (according to Veterans Today, a conspiracy website) that would have lead to a second civil war did not take place, probably because there wasn't one actively planned in the first place.

Get the memo yet? Nothing bad happened in 2012. We're all still here and still alive!

Is anyone else looking forward to observing comet ISON as it makes it's flyby later in 2013? This will be my first chance to hopefully observe a comet, as Hallie's Comet didn't really mean much to me when I was a kid. I hear ISON is going to be viewable in the Northern Hemisphere of Earth in late November 2013. Scientists don't quite know if it will burn up in the sun after passing Earth, or if it will zoom back out into space for another possible flyby at a later date. So far it is believed the comet has made it's journey to the solar system from the Oort Cloud.

Don't worry folks, the comet poses NO danger to the Earth, as normal, but will provide a great chance for astronomers and scientists to observe and get a better understanding of comets as a whole when it puts on a show later next year.

Im constantly thinking off everything going into pitch black once the countdown finishes. One of the evidence i can think of for this is that 12 is the final number on the clock therefore that's when it stops.

i heard about Betelgeuse back in 2011. and before i came here someone on youtube told me that it was going to go supernova and destroy earth. :L but now, i think if that stars can get as big as Betelgeuse, i thought there would be a bigger, monster star out there, one that would dwarf Betelgeuse. its possible, but is there any stars out there that are way bigger than the other stars like (obviously) Betelgeuse?

I just want to give a massive shout out to this site for everything its provided, and for everyone involved in helping those that really needed it, I've certainly enjoyed helping along side you all, and I've learn a very valuable lesson from all of this too, as we all have, and further more, all this hoax has done is rapidly increase in interest in astronomy and earth sciences, and some history on ancient civilisations, just the basics for now.

I now consider the 2012 apocalypse, as part of the "biggest lies in history", and now it lays to rest, permanently, in my books. Future end of world predictions will now be harder to believe after this one (lets hope so anyways).

The doomsday is over now, and obviously nothing happened. There is just something i want to say. There will be new doomsday dates and theories, it won't stop. Just don't believe it anymore. You know, nothing happened now. And if you find new articles about future doomsdays, (Don't search for it, it can make you very scared again fast!) realise it is all the same as the the last 2012 doomsday. If you believe everything you read on the Internet, you will have a miserable life actually. I hope the people who were very anxious about this whole doomsday, won't fall ever again for this crap. And if something like this ever happens again, make sure you can help other scared people. Just tell them what happened now, and make sure everything will be same like the 2012 doomsday. If you keep anxious about it, find a doctor or something. If you keep anxious, it can get worse, and you will get physical sick, while actually nothing is going on. Just be careful on the Internet, and always keep laughing in life. For the scared people, i think is won't be over fast. I know what some people been through, and because the doomsday is over, they maybe have a big relief, but i think they will be very vulnerable after this, so keep care of yourselves. I really want to give the people that helped everyday again on this site, maybe telling the same story everyday, but helping people, a big thank. Instead of trolling and scaring other people, the people really did a very good job. You also helped me the last few weeks. I hope this site will just help people that are scared in general. This won't be the last doomsday date, so i hope you can keep helping the scared people. :)

I have tried finding this on the internet, and I did not.. I was just told, watch this video, watch it. I replied, any one can make a video.. haven't you seen the videos on Nibiru and such..? I am a scientist, not a psychologist, so I am having real trouble understanding just why anyone was so scared of something that obviously wasn't going to happen.

I know that this question may seem insensitive so close to the time of the non-event, but I do need to understand it before everyone leaves this forum. For those who were truely scared I would like to know why? Maybe the answers to a few sub questions may help me understand a bit better.

What was the threat that made you feel so scared?

What explanation was given for this perceived threat that out-weighed the science?

Once a rational explanation had been given de-bunking that threat, why did you continue to believe the doomsdayers rather than the science?

Thank-you in advance for anyone who is prepared to open their thoughts and give me some answers. These answers may also help me understand the ones who insist that man-made CO2 is the only cause of climate change and global warming, which is my main field of study.

I'm tired of this!

1ST: Never believe the end of the world hoax unless there is sum "TRUE REAL" data backing it up and u can see for yourself also hope this got people into space more learning astronomy and all about space and about the Mayan culture more. I never believe it from day one since i heard about it years ago i study up on it saw right off the bat it was wrong there was no data backing it all up plus i study astronomy so help me out on it as well but i hope everybody has a great holiday weekend and wanna say thank you to the people who help made this site and people ran it answer questions to help calm people and let them see the real truth
