In June it is almost directly opposite the direction to the galactic black hole. In fact, if you were to visit any amateur astronomy club's public night in June they would gladly point out where the position of Sgr A* is in the sky.

The black hole won't be covered at all. The Sun subtends an angle of 0.5°. The figure of 6.6° is the angular distance of the Sun from the black hole on Deecmber 21st. Thus the separation between the two will be 13 sun-diameters. Not an eclipse and not even a partial eclipse (the correct term would actually be occultation, not eclipse).

Moreover, the same (non) event happens every year on December 21st.

Sagittarius A* is over 25,000 light years from our Solar System. To borrow local slang, nothing going on in there means more than a hill of beans to Earth. Any "energy" of any sort we receive from there is utterly negligible relative to the massive fluctuations we see every single day from the Sun. Our geomagnetic field does not care about the Galactic Center. The sort of "alignment" you're discussing happens every year anyway — twice — as explained here.

This is the kind of cartoon model of reality that just baffles me. In order to think about things and speculate meaningfully, you first need a basic understanding of your subject. Just sitting around making things up isn't particularly useful.

And if there was even the slightest net effect going on, would this small effect, spread out over a few weeks or months of constant bombardment, have a small gradual effect on the liquid core inside the earth? I am thinking, much in the same way a light wind can pull a massive sailboat, would it be possible this small "draft" could begin disrupting the outer magnetic field, thereby causing fluctuations in the core of the earth…

Now, hypothetically speaking, and perhaps we should consult with a geologist on this… but…

If there were fluctuations on the core of the earth, could this cause "hurricanes" or chaotic fluctuations on the liquid metallic core which could generate massive heat beneath the mantle through the dynamo effect. Which could possibly lead to major volcanic eruptions, which could somehow disrupt life on our planet? Unfortunately, most geologists still don't understand what causes these massive supervolcanic eruptions to happen, so this is all speculation…

And still, the worst-case scenario would probably require a "perfect storm" (a word i hate to use as it's been so hyped up in the media in recent years…) for anything semi-catastrophic too happen…

As i see it. if this were the situation at hand, it might seem that having some sort of magnetic protection in the forms of a giant earth-magnetic shield could come in handy in times like these .. hehe…

Anyways, I hope you can seriously address my questions, as these are just some random ponderings I've had, and I'm sure aren't fully substantiated by science. I would love to hear an expert's view.

I wanted to know how far the black hole should be to have the same gravitational force on Earth as the Sun:
The calculations shows 2024.85 AU = 0.0320179 light-years!
It is 824,538 times this distance away in reality!

If the black hole had the mass of the complete Milky way it could be at 13.2297 light years away to have the same attracting force as the Sun.
It is 1995.51 times this distance away in reality!

First you compare the black hole to the sun and then sun to earth.
But I think you should both compare them to earth.

I ask you to do this because you seem to not understand the geometry of alignments. If you watch the videos, you'll learn that the closest alignment possible between the Sun and the Black hole occurs a few days before the Winter Solstice of every year. No "repositioning of the solar system" ever occurs.

The solar system is orbiting the centre of the galaxy and is in equilibrium. A 'repositioning' would require a change in the magnitude or direction of the gravitational force acting on the solar system. Please explain how this might take place.

I am not an astromer, but the black hole you refer to is many lightyears away. Not to mention the blackhole doesn't hold our galaxy together. If it did it would be ignoring Kepler's 3rd law. Funny enough though, stars around it obey the law perfectly. Further from the black hole, stars are not orbiting as slow as you would expect being so far away. Viola, dark mass.
