According to the bible, a generation is 40 years, not 70…

1948+40=1988
1988+7=1995

what does 1948 and 70 have to do with anything?

When the Israel became a state, suppose to be one generation after that the 7 years of tribulation and armageddon 2nd coming of christ and all that.

People on the internet can predict "the Coming of Christ" and the "rapture" on any day they want to, but they're just making themselves look bad. I'm like "Dude, take your meds". I guess False Prophets have absolutely nothing to do so they make up a day for a "rapture". It's for the money. In the bible it clearly states that nobody knows the date or hour Jesus would come back(not even Jesus himself). People probably lose their faith because of these "rapture" predictions; I started to lose my faith in God because of that idiot Harold Camping. But nowadays I am starting to have a great relationship with God and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior :). So Ignore all these whack "Christian" Sites on the internet, those people are just playing God, and believe me, God's probably laughing at them and probably labeling them with the word "stupid" on their foreheads.

And most likely, it will start when powers try to exterminate His chosen people, which is looking more and more likely with the invasion of Iran.

The Armageddon is not a clock and you can't make such speculation without evidence.

7 years tribulation means things start happening in 2011.

Give us some details in advance, so we'll know whether you're right. But of course, you'll pick on something after it happens and tell us that it was a 'sign'.
