When will Yellowstone erupt again?
We do not know. Future volcanic eruptions could occur within or near Yellowstone National Park for the simple reason that the area has a long volcanic history and because there is hot and molten rock, or magma, beneath the caldera.
•The most likely type of eruption would not be volcanic but, rather, hydrothermal. This type of small, but still explosive eruption can occur from shallow reservoirs of steam or hot water rather than molten rock.

I don't know what else to tell you about the prophecy of the popes. It is believed to be a fraud. When it was first published, it only had popes up until that time. If it had been written by Saint Malachy, don't you think it would have been written down during his lifetime, and have included the popes through the 112th? I believe I told you about the Cardinal who wanted to be the next pope. The so-called prophecy called the next pope shepherd and sailor. This cardinal filled a boat with sheep and sailed up and down the Tiber River so he would fit the "prophecy." I don't know about you, but I find this ludicrous.

The LHC has been back online for a few months and we're not dead yet. I think the physicists working with it know quite a lot more than we do about it. It seems unlikely that they would be doing things that would destroy them along with the rest of the world.

You seem to be looking for things to be afraid of. The prophecy of the popes is BS, the LHC isn't going to destroy the world, and Yellowstone isn't expected to have a volcanic eruption in the next millennium. It is 92,000 years away from the USGS even considering calling it overdue for a caldera forming eruption.

I don't know what else to tell you except that I have lived through numerous "doomsdays." Maybe after you have been through a few more of them, you'll stop believing all the silly things you see on the internet or the Hysteria Channel.

3. The pope prophecy scared me very very much at first but it seems that no one really knows what it means, at least I'm very confused about it becasue so many answerd difrent here on the forum.
Some one else might know more about it than me and explain some more, but if I where you I would'nt care so much about it, as it seems the catolics don't belive it. :)

4. The LCH is NOT to be fear, it is controled by experts and even if it would break it would'nt destroy the earth, you sould fear nuclear power plants more, but IMO you sould'nt be afraid of anything where experts are working.

The world does not revolve arround the Roman Catholic so i would say dont believe everything you read. I am a Catholic and i must say i never heard about this Last Pope story in all the years i have been in Cathalic Schools.

My suggestion to you is you should stop searching for this type of stuff that worries you i hate to see you get your self sick of nonsense search.

3. According to the prophecy of the popes (I know I mentioned it many times, but it's still scaring me), does our pope is the last one, or the one before the last? It says that the world will end because god will judge the people. So basically do we need to be concerned about it if we don't believe in the bible?

4. Is there any chance the comparison of collisions in the LHC to collisions in cosmic rays is somehow false or a mistake? The LHC is going to collide protons at energy of 3.5 TeV in a few days and it's really frightening.
