Just to clear up a misconception 'Astrogeek' is my account, and '2012hoax' is the admin account. I try to post under 'Astrogeek' but sometimes I forget and post as '2012hoax'.

In other words "2012hoax" = "Astrogeek" = Bill Hudson.

Yes, it's a hoax. I'm sorry that you've been upset about this, but it is a hoax, top to bottom, start to finish. In fact, it's more than a hoax… it is a fraud.

Feel free to look around the site, and ask questions wherever you can. You'll notice that we do not ask for your email, or for your money, or try to sell you anything. There are no "reports" to be downloaded for a fee, and you can continue to post here as 'guest' anonymously.

If you don't mind, I'd like to know what you had heard, and where you heard it, that scared you so much.

It is a hoax and you have every right to be angry. I hope you'll take the time to read through the various sections of the site, each one explaining in explicit detail how each and every 2012 doomsday scenario is wrong (if you haven't already). Astrogeek and 2012hoax are telling it like it is, putting the truth out there.

I used to be very afraid of the end of the world when I was younger, every scenario that came up I would experience stress and anxiety. As I got older and saw how each claim failed, I became less anxious about it.

The doomsday proponents are people who, as Dr. Neil Tyson has stated, "didn't take enough science in school." (speaking of which, I encourage you to search him on YouTube and see what he has to say about 2012)

Once you've had a chance to read through this site, I'm confident you'll be much less scared that you were before you came here.
