Then we have the idiots talking about running around killing people because they think the world is going to end and they won't have to face prosecution. If they are so religious, one would think they would be concerned about facing God if they did these things. Hopefully, they will just hole up somewhere, then calm down when the world doesn't end.
Those who can't stand having an African American President though, may become even more dangerous if he is reelected in 2012. I have never before seen people going so crazy over politics. They are openly advocating violence and treason. There is always the possibility that they may calm down a bit when they see that health care will help them and it isn't a government takeover.

As radical as these political and religious extremists are, my biggest concern is the mental trauma that the whole 2012 thing is doing to people, especially kids. I keep hearing rumors of suicides among teens, and that these kids were worried about 2012… That doesn't show cause and effect… they could be depressed and worried about being eaten by tigers in their backyard too, for all I know… but it seems to me to be a reasonable assumption that obsessing about a "2012 doomsday" is a really bad idea for someone who is already depressed.

I think we will see some activity from some of these militia groups, but I tend to think it will be more of the survivalist mindset, stockpiling food and weapons in a compound somewhere in the rockies, in preparation for "the end".

It seems like everyday you have one more extremist (religious or political) saying they are going to change the united states of America. because it doesn't fit their political or social "ideal", this is actually got me a little upset. these people want to commit treason and kill Americans because an African American is president or because they think health care is some kind of mass euthanasia plot? and it doesn't help that we have the media showering attention to them. Some of these people like i mentioned above were religious nuts that are plotting to kill government officials to start a second civil war. I think this has gone far enough honestly. and with 2012 and the talk of the so called end of ze world people might subject themselves to this kind of crap and actually try to pull something. Is my little worry valid?
