Those of us that are as I love to put it are "down with 2012 theory" see 2012 and the Dec 21 date in particular as a clear sign post greatly midstream of the extraordinary planetary transition well under way.

A distillation of 2012 theory, search online yourself, is that it marks a turning point of healing, awakening and empowerment on this planet. We see what we look at, seems obvious though I'll show you what I mean. If you google for 2012 doomsday or endtimes or such, that's what you are going to find. If you google generically and simply for "2012", there is a beautiful breadth and depth of theory, with not one perspective being solely accurate but apparently all true in some proportion. As I understand it, "doomsday" information is disinformation - the false tip of the iceberg as I love to put it in this case. Many people recognize accurately the fallaciousness and fail to look a little deeper to realize the breadth and depth of 2012 theory. While earth change cataclysms of some degree are part of some 2012 theory, they are peripheral to the transition occurring. There are so many perspectives that corroborate the awakening position, here are two.

Picean to Aquarian transition. I am not well versed in western astrology, nonetheless I am confident that I have a grasp of what I am referring to here. 2000 year cycles each, Picean age characterized by power structures of dominance, Aquarian age characterized in that sense by empowerment. It is said to be a 50 year transitional window to the Aquarian age. This New Age (2nd corroboration) is said to be characterized by peace, love and harmony (sounds like the the 60's ya? perhaps you now see where this is going), further characterized by compassion, understanding, increased cosmological and inner (powers!) understanding. It is said that many people old and young of the 60's were on the cusp of this New Age, ones that saw the disfunction of the planet (greed, war, profit before life etc) and the reality of an answer - Love. It occurred to me (inspiration shared with me, from wherever that comes from, whether our spirit guides or pure Inner Guidance or another benevolent sourceh, as I understand, though you may well see this as a belief), almost a year back that if you add 50 years to the 60's you pretty much get 2012.

New Age theory dovetails nicely as well, as already implied above. Aside from amazing teachings of our spiritual/paranormal powers (3rd eye, seeing and reading chakras, psychic abilities, communication with spirit guides, reincarnation and more) New Age for those not familiar with it at it's core is in these two words, that we are about to make a planetary evolutionary leap.
