Alene YAlene Y found some sites that listed ownership differently, showing 37.5% each by Disney and Hearst and 25% by GE/NBC. She also also found in several places that Rupert Murdoch owns about 50%.

I have no idea what the real percentages are today, and really, I have no way of finding out. So let's just say that the ownership of A&E is currently 'murky'

Nothing can be done about it. There's no law against lying about doomsday. You are expected to be smart about to know when something is "Entertainment" (they label it as entertainment to avoid lawsuits concerning mental damage), and when something is "Fact".

Basically, Hysteria Channel would like you to know you're an idiot for believing them, but thanks for your viewership! :D!

PS: Disney Channel went to crap when it stopped airing it's awesome cartoons from the 80s-90s and started wheeling out crap like That's So Raven, Hanna Montana, and whatever stupid sitcoms they pump out.
