I just got this mental picture of this lady, standing there, staring at a camera and laughing like a stoned hyena.
That's the best mental picture that I've had all day, and the funniest, thus far.

I'm happy for you, though, Lindsay. What you've done is definitely a sign of progress, in fact, I'll throw a party for you.
…OK, there won't be anyone at the party because I don't know where anyone is, so I'll sit by myself and throw a party!

Heh! Yes, thanks! Another way to do it is to use a piece of clear glass or plastic between the camera and the sun. I've seen a video on youtube where the guy uses a simple CD case.

I worked outside all weekend at a soccer tournament (fun…..). When there was a long gap in between busy times, I decided, just for fun, to take a picture of the sun with my camera on my phone. I did this to show myself how these doomsdayers take pics of the sun and try to claim "OMG NIBIRU!!!!!!" To my amusement, I figured out how to set my camera at the exact angle to make the camera flare RIGHT next to the sun to make it look like there was a little circle of light peeking out from the sun. I'm sure if I put this pic online, they'd be like "SEE! I TOLD YOU!!!!" I laughed for a good hour after I did this. I'm sure people thought I was mentally insane.
Thought you'd get a good laugh =)
