Nice find, TruGamer, I was driving myself mad, trying to figure this website out.
Google search brought back so many results that it wasn't funny, I knew that it couldn't have been World War Z, because World War Z was halted and delayed and isn't scheduled for release until 2012, ironically.

Friends and I noticed that too, I was actually at the page when it hit zero and nothing happened (really….nothing happened)
If you highlight the bottom part of the page, there's a reference to Daniel 12; 1-13, which speaks of the resurrection of the dead, also something featured in Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Here's the countdown, as you can see, nothing exciting happens.. two mutual gamers speculate that it's also a viral campaign for a new production of Left 4 Dead but the most accepted at this point (at least in the gaming community) is Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Looks like another "woo" site, as others here would say.

Viruses (in general) have the possibility of mutation, in fact, I wouldn't expect anything less.
Contrary to belief, it is plausible to create a "zombie", basic motor functions and reverting back to the most basic of instinct, to feed, add a little bit of rage and there you go. The gradual death of the body (despite being alive-ish) would be the biggest issue.

Even though it's plausible, that doesn't mean that it's likely and while I, personally, would love to have a zombie apocalypse, it's something that I, personally, don't believe that will happen in our life time, if at all.

I can't stress this enough..
It is impossible, not unlikely or, difficult, but impossible to predict when, where or, how a virus will mutate, and while many would love to be able to predict such an occurrence, isn't within our ability.

Sadly, a viral mutation is one of our weak spots, but this is something that could happen at any moment or, it could not happen at all, it's impossible to say with any amount of certainty.

World War Z, sadly, isn't scheduled for release until 2012 or, that's what this movie database says.

So I don't believe its real at all, but due too the "Institute for Human Continuity" fiasco
I thought it would be a good idea to post it here before someone else does. Its probably
an ARG or viral marketing, possibly for one of these- Resident Evil: Afterlife, The Walking Dead, or the
World War Z movie. Or it could be for some other movie/TV series I haven't yet heard about.

I'm curious to here others thoughts on this.
