Please smack yourself for not listening. It says that there is more effort into deflecting possible asteroids that could cause damage. None besides Apophis, which is in 2029/2036, have a chance of hitting us for that kind of damage.

On Sunday, I was watching the CTV News, and it had said that Canadian and American Astronauts were issuing a warning that the world has to prepare for one big asteroid that could one day cause death and destruction to the earth and that they were coming up with plans on how to deflect it. Should we be concerned about this asteroid or will it just pass by the earth?
