I am finding much more real happiness in my life by focusing on what is working and feels good.

Good for you. It doesn't follow that people fooled by hoaxes are "natural selection in progress," or that you are inherently better than anyone for seeing through it when they don't.

Each and everyone has the right to believe whatever they choose to without judgment or condemnation.

This presupposes that people always choose what to believe or disbelieve.

I can see how my first post could have ruffled feathers.

Imagine that.

There is SO much more going right in this life of ours than is going wrong.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a mechanism by which people could be convinced of this when they think otherwise, even to the point of anxiety or worse? Oh, wait — there is. You're looking at it.

It was not my intent to be rude. The natural selection comment was snarky.

What I am saying is that there are many teachers past and present that say we each create our own reality by the thoughts we think. Also, that whatever I focus my attention on, gets bigger.

I'm pretty sure the opinion of being kind and open-armed to someone who posts:

I suppose since you cannot be conned by anything, you would think that. However, since we are all human and hence prone to our own fantasies, I imagine that you will be conned one day or was and refuse to admit to it. Perhaps when your mental faculties fade, then you will be taken advantage off, croak and remove yourself from the gene pool. Just don't talk on the phone whilst driving and other risky behaviour.

If I understand you correctly, you feel that if someone falls for the 2012 doomsday hoax, and kills themselves, then it is their own fault, and "natural selection in progress"?

Would you extend this point of view to children? What about parents who do harm to their children out of fear of 2012? Is there a cut-off age in your view, when people should have enough knowledge to see through these claims?

You can believe whatever you want, but I certainly don't share you belief. Some people are content to wallow in delusion, while others might lack critical thinking skills but genuinely want help in dealing with 2012-related claims. I consider it foolishly dismissive, not to mention callous, to wave them off as "natural selection in progress."

I enjoyed the site.

I believe that we are all deliberate creators and that there are no victims.

So, if someone falls for the 2012 crap, then I consider it natural selection in progress!
