There is a wikipedia entry on him, as well as one in the skeptic's dictionary.

Much of what you hear attributed to Cayce is not borne out by the evidence. Cayce himself limited himself to 'medical readings', trying to remotely diagnose and treat ailments that people had mailed him regarding.
