While you'll have a chance of seeing something whatever time you go out (as long as the Moon isn't too bright), you'll see the radiant of the Leonids around 5am ish, it'll get higher and higher by 7am, 8am.

But that was a quick look up, you'll probably find more info on somewhere like Meteorwatch.

Long story short is the longer you are outside and awake, the more you'll see.
