Mild to severe droughts are nothing new to anyone here, especially those who were around for the severe drought in the 30s and 40s that kicked up a dust storm that actually went global.¹

However, as I have researched, the full season of Project Earth: 2025 also shows the hope that the current advancements in clean water development can bring to us.

Project Earth and Project Green are not just "USCREWEDOBEYUS!", but a lesson on both sides. The Good and Bad.

That sounds a little off for that. IIRC "Future Earth: 2025" was a special on NBC back in December of '09, when NBC was more or less firing off scare tactics via "Project Green". It's just another extreme way to try to force people to be more conscious of our planet.

Regardless, it's more or less saying chaos and destruction await us if the 'Water Crisis' goes out of hand. There is a current 'Water Crisis', but this is only being viewed in third-world countries. In the more advanced countries… eh… eh… eh… yes and no.

It's hard to say exactly if things will get as bad as the "Project Green" videos want you to believe, but we do have to be more aware of things like water, energy, and so on.

Will the world be covered in flaming tornadoes, locusts, and such in 2025? I kind of laugh.

I was flipping through some channels when on the Weather Channel there was a documentary called "Future Earth: 2025" and it showed an overdramatic view of D.C. on fire and Locusts swarming buildings in New York. Like History Channel, it has a narrator with a creepy voice and images of D.C. on fire with unsettling music. While at the same time, it shows how we can't do anything about clean water when they successfuly don't add the part where we can purify water.

I know this is skipping years ahead, but I hate how there is already something like that out there. And it's just going to bring in more hysteria.
