No, Wikidot actually had an outage from the end of the day on 29 March through 1 April. I had zero visits on 31 March 2010

Yes, and in fact it is a surprisingly small percentage… less than 5%.

However, it is the top subdomain, appearing in forth place after Direct traffic (45.84%), Google (organic, whatever that means) (29.77%) and referrals from google.com (4.74%). As a subdomain, answers.yahoo.com accounts for 4.34% of the visits in the month of November, with 1,373 visits.

Yeah, break it down, tell us why you forgot to pay the hosting in March, or was 2012 just globally dull during that week?

Myself and others regularly give a link to this site when answering questions about 2012 on Yahoo! Answers. Are you able to see how many visitors to this site are redirected from Y!A?

Since this site's inception in May of 2009, we have enjoyed a gradual but steady upward trend in visitors.

This site uses Google Analytics to track usage, and the graphs below show the 'Absolute Unique Visitors' statistic. The first graph shows the period of May 1st, 2009 through December 5th, 2010, and the second graph shows the month of November, 2010.

With the exception of a couple of spikes surrounding the movie "2012" as well as a couple of other events, we have seen a steady upward trend in the number of people visiting this site per day. In the month of November, 2010, there were 25,219 unique visitors (not visits, visitors), or about 840 people per day.

Thanks to all of the contributors to the website, and to all of the participants in the forum, for making this site the go-to reference for critical information on 2012!
