Everyone has interpreted the Bible differently - if they didn't, there'd be one form of Christianity. As it happens, there are a few more than one. If followers, believers, whatever term we apply can't agree amongst themselves what the same words on a page mean in relation to the modern world, then why should we take their word over that of an objective person, a person whose interpretation or beliefs do not get in the way of cold hard facts.

Now you or anyone else can believe in a deity, you can interpret those words in your holy scripture of choice as you like, but ultimately it will be up to you to then prove that those words are directly related to these events. And you just can't, they simply aren't related. You cannot test the hypothesis that what was written in the desert thousands of years ago was a prediction of events in modern times, whereas you not only can test the hypothesis that birds bumped into objects for example, but you can also prove it without resorting to an ancient book.

Magnetism is the one that made me think since birds use the magnetic field for navigation.

Some birds. In any case, there's nothing special going on with our magnetic field. If that were the case, confused birds would be only one of several obvious issues, and the problem would be far more widespread than it is. It would, in fact, adversely affect every species of creature that uses geomagnetism for navigation, and that simply isn't what we observe.

She said she had been doing her own research and getting several emails wanting to know if it was an apocalypse. She said that more tests are being done but that it happens so much. It can happen for numbers, it can happen for new vocabulary you learn - I had a similar thing just recently where I found out Pete Postlethwaite had died. Who is Pete Postlethwaite? Bit of searching and a found a picture. "Oh it's him, I know him. Wait, I was watching him just yesterday in a film… And have just bought another film that he's in… weird."

Well no, it wasn't weird, it's just a coincidence. With these events here, coincidences are not just being found, but actively pushed onto people, people are going out and finding them, rather than stumbling into them, almost forcing them to the surface of the news.

There are feral python deaths in Florida because of the cold weather. The invasive species is a tropical one and cannot tolerate cold. BUT no one seems to be interested in an invasive species die off. They were poised to destroy the ecosystem of the Everglades. Not much discussion that either except an occasional science program. So if it is warm blooded or exciting and massive and tied into doomsday in some way then yes, media frenzy.

Manatees have been dying off from the cold as well. That has been reported on and on TV as well. But no mass hysteria there since well manatees do not number in the 1000s. But since it is so few of them, the die off is as dramatic as 1000s of blackbirds, which are considered pests in the areas they were reported.

Chemtrail is another popular one. Although some get the idea of what a chemtrail actually is correct, just the name wrong. I remember as a kid seeing the trails of planes in the air, the days before conspiracy theories.

Magnetism is the one that made me think since birds use the magnetic field for navigation. Although, so does a compass. My compass isn't spinning in circles.

HAARP. I wasn't surprised to see this. We know this is pretty dumb.

I also heard that the news media are short on topics to report. Which is actually good news for us here, because it means that not much is going on in the world.

I haven't seen any UFO links yet, but I've read several comments and articles trying to connect the die-offs to chemtrails, HAARP and a pole shift. It is truly, mind-numbingly ridiculous.

Only a sociopath would not be bothered on some level by so many dying animals. It's horrible, but that's just how things go in nature, and it clearly is not unusual.

Precisely! News agencies are falling over themselves to find and report such incidents. When, in the past, would you ever have heard about dead doves in Italy? Virtually never.

Now 8,000 turtle doves have died in Italy from hypoxia. Said they thought they were swept into a high altitude storm. I'm scared now. More than before. Something is happening.

Mary, what have we been trying to tell you for days now?

What possible mechanism do you think could connect all of these events? I'll tell you: there isn't one. The only connection is the nonstop barrage of media reports that are obsessed with making you think there is actually some kind of news in these wildlife die-offs. In reality, these events happen almost constantly, all over the world.

Get out from the Internet. You are actually looking for more reasons for fear 2012, birds and fish deaths, zip codes, and conspiracy. But you have to get out from the Internet. Do you know why? Because it's a free place. So free, that if you look for the most absurd thing in the world, you will find it.
Why you don't hang out with your friends, play games, watch a movie… make something better. If you don't want to be scared, stop looking for the fear, because you will find it, and it will be bad.

So, the only thing I ask you is: do something different.
