I don't get it how 2012 is going to be the magical year that the world is going to wake up and realize the destruction they are doing. Why not 2013 or even now? I don't think the world will realize until it is too late.

Also, with 195 countries in the world, I don't believe we will ever have peace and harmony. That is way too big of a number to satisfy anyone.

We don't need any message to change our world. But anyway, the Maya didn't leave any message to the humanity, just read what the scholars and actual Maya people say.

We SHOULD care about our planet.

If only everyone was better educated about the simple things we can do to preserve our planet, our source for food, water, air, energy… there would be very little problems left in the world.

(And we'd probably all be blue-skinned like in Avatar! ;))
