I didn't know that these murders and attempted murders were connected to the doomsday hoax. Why would they go on aq mrder spree because of this?

There have been a lot more than one, but I'd have to go back through our many thousands of posts to know how many. I would estimate a minimum of 20, but that's just a WAG.

The rational information on 2012hoax probably stopped many who might have otherwise committed suicide. We will probably never know how many, but even one would have been worth it.

Referring to the Mayan calendar, Min said that an elderly woman told villagers in his hometown that “the end of the world is coming and the Earth will explode,” according to the paper. Apparently, police attempted to find the woman and detain her but she was gone.

I haven't heard of any recently. There may have been one about 1-2 years ago. His friend posted that he ha committed suicide because of the hoax, but he didn't give us a name or location so we couldn't confirm it.

I haven't heard anything about suicides related to 2012 yet. But unfortunately these suicides occur and are the saddest part of the hoax.

This question has probably been asked, but were there other cases of suicide?

I really think morons like Patrick Geryl and other sycophants are to blame for this.
