True Galactic Alignment

JMJ stole the idea of the galactic alignment from Raymond Mardyks' work. It was first discussed in 1987 and later in 1991. JMJ never understood it correctly and is passing along misinformation. The solstice disk imagery comes from Mardyks and JMJ appropriated version includes incorrect dates.

One thing that should be clear from this site is that we are not fans of Jenkins. That is neither here nor there. As far as Mardyks' accusations against Jenkins, I'll let Jenkins respond on his own.

He doesn't predict any sort of cataclysm. But from what I've heard from him, he doesn't really explain what he means by spiritual awakening. Or maybe I just lose interest as soon as I hear it.

He is in the same boat as astrologers who think alignments are important. Even though this alignment is the same as every December 21st winter solstice.

Every one of the proponents on the left have one thing in common, they are all making money from this hoax.

Didn't you learn about it in school?

The winter solstice is when the Earth's axial tilt is farthest away from the sun at its maximum of 23° 26'. In other words, it's when Earth's north pole gets the farthest away from the sun. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_solstice

Yes, it happens every December 20th/21st. It's the shortest day and the longest night of the year (the sun rises later and it gets dark sooner).
After this, the days start getting longer and the nights shorter again, until June 21st when the opposite happens, and it's called Summer Solstice (the sun rises sooner and it gets dark later). And after this, we're back to December 20th/21st… Well, you get the picture.

It's just a natural cycle, like the rotation of the Earth around the Sun or like the changing of seasons.

The solstices happen every year. The winter solstice for the Northern Hemisphere varies from December 21 to 22. This is the summer solstice for the Southern Hemisphere.

nothing in this universe is or ever will be perfect . this claim condradicts that saying there will be a "perfect allignment".it is impossible simply because of this fact

Exactly what harmful effects would the Earth have with the winter solstice? I didn't know the solstice was a dangerous event all of a sudden.

Well, in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice is associated with the solid form of dihydrogenmonoxide, which is associated with several deaths each year…

I have seen petitions against dihydrogenmonoxide because it is everywhere even in the water!
Too much dihydrogenmonoxide is very deadly.

Every time I see dihydrogenmonoxide falling from the sky because it got too dense you see people running from the streets into house and put up their rain jackets.

The reason "nobody knows" about the danger is simple - there IS no danger. Those that claim there is some sort of doom approaching is just blowing smoke. Whether for some sort of profit, notoriety, or simply being a "Drama Queen". They crave attention.

I believe is the crux of a lot of the hoopla - some people feel the need to "be special" in that they have a "revelation" or have "secret knowledge of the Ancients", or whatever. Some want the attention, but unfortunately many have no real interest (or knowledge) other than making a buck: "And YOU TOO can receive these 'forbidden/supressed secrets'! YOU TOO can be among The Elect! But only if you order my informative and enlightening DVD! And if you order RIGHT NOW, you can receive my newest book on 'How to Survive'…"

As long as there is anything new or as-yet not fully investigated/studied, there are those who will exploit the uninformed or gullible into thinking "they have the answers". Perhaps "gullible" is too harsh - try "easily pursuaded". When Halley's Comet made its appearance in 1910, it was predicted the earth would pass through its tail, and thousands of panicked people bought gas masks to prevent being asphyxiated by "cyanogen gas". When I was in Jr. High in California (April,1969), several psychics predicted a massive earthquake/tsunami - I saw kids with life jackets in their lockers, or didn't go to school that day. In 1982, the "Jupiter Effect" was supposed to rip the earth apart - and that WAS an ACTUAL planetary alignment! (there IS NO "alignment" happening 12/21/2012, by the way)
