Just to clarify Pinchbeck's positiion, the article stated he was "ambivalent" about global destruction in 2012, that's untrue. His position (as far as I can determine after reading his works) is quite sternly AGAINST doomsday prophets. He does imply that a large scale change is immanent, but scolds those who would turn the minds of the populus towards doom and destruction. He believes that these nay-sayers are actually more likely to cause such an event, and as such are guilty of brining about that which they claim to fear the most. We all have Thanatos, the god of the Death Wish lurking in all of us, but Pinchbeck urges us to spend our mental, physicial and spiritual energy creating a version of the future where humanity thrives, learns and grows. In fact, in his book 2012 he has a falling out with Whitley Streiber over this idea when he accuses streiber of inciting fear and paranoia in his fans instead of hope and optimism. Just thought I'd point that out, he is in no way ambivalent about doomsday predictions, he is roundly against promoting global fear and panic.
I wonder why you say you are debunking the "2012 doomsday", when nothing I read in Daniels book tells me of a "Doomsday".
For me, the Doomsday is already happening, when over thirty thousand children die every day from starvation and simple diseases that we could cure with about 2 % of the world military budget.
It is going to take a shift in human consciousness to change this current system which supports the military-industrial complex at the expense of everything else, into something that supports all humans in the pursuit of Life.
This site is just another attempt to keep the masses asleep, and to think that everything is alright, and that their government is on their side looking after things, and that they can keep driving their cars and shopping and nothing needs to change.
Another person wrote that this site is lame, and you asked what is lame about it. That would be you and your low level of consciousness.

What's new? People (children included) have been dying from diseases for thousands of years. Remember the Bubonic Plague? How about the plagues before that? Remember the bloody rampage of the crusade? What about when people were burned at the stake for being different?
History, you should learn it.

Apparently you didn't bother to read the page you just commented on. Not a good first step.

What are you babbling about, Nurse? People only started dying EVER because of 2012. Gosh.

Oh, thank you! I needed that laugh, it's been a terrible night.
