I have been reading his book translated into English. I doubt seriously that he is what he claims. If you read it, you find that he is a diffusionist - the Mayas or Atlantis spread their culture to other places. Yes he does mention Atlantis. He claims that Mayan society is a or was a utopia. Every Maya followed what their day sign told them to do, which resulted in a utopia. Quite frankly his book makes them out to be Calvinists - predestined to their lot in life. How does that help anyone transform in 2012?
His point of view is that of a Westerner romantising Mayan culture. I would think that the Mayan would be more different somehow.
