Marshall Masters seems to be one of the most vocal proponents. I wonder if he really believes in what he's selling.
Do any of you know Marshall Masters? I do, both the "old" version and the "new" version.
The "old" version was a charming fellow, with whom I was pleased to work. We worked with him because we really felt that we could believe in what we were doing. Of course, we questioned Marshall on several occasions, on several topics. The "old" Marshall would hold intelligent conversations with us, as if he believed in what he was doing. He cared deeply about his friends, enough so that we could be there for him in his trials, as he could be there for us.
The "new" version, Marshall2.0, showed himself after a long-running family estate feud, in which his siblings tried to cheat him out of a relatively large inheritance. Because the deceased lived in my area of the country previously, even though he lived briefly and died in another part of the country, I worked myself to a frenzy on evidence-gathering leg-work that an attorney would have an assistant do for a nice fee. I got no money for doing that. Not one cent, even though I had to pay for my own gas and wear-and-tear on my seventeen-year old car. I took my work with me to take him from the airport to the first court, which was very close to my home, and back to the airport, which was not. No payment. The only payment I received was for gas for the trip to pick him up at the airport, take him to the appeals court and back to the airport.
Therefore originally, he was addressing a crime committed against him (fraudulent, unregistered will — three sets of handwriting and a fraudulent signature on a handwritten statement, which is not accepted as a will in this state). Then, he gave up his life as a middle-aged crime fighter and told me that, from that point on, it was "all about the money." At the time, I didn't think that this philosophy applied to his friends, but I was wrong.
Then, he started cheating us. First, he cheated the other friend out of his royalties, and the friend left us, though I still have contact with him. Then, it was my turn. I was supposed to write an article and have it to him by a certain date. I got it in, working through the night (very difficult article) a couple of nights, only a few hours late. I even told him what time to expect the article. Then, he lied and told me that it was expected a full day earlier. But "out of the kindness of his heart, and to help me to 'get clean of my antidepressant drug abuse,'" he would send me a small fixed check each month." I received my final check last month.
My doctor at the local VA hospital was furious! You see, I pay no money, so the VA has no financial interest in me. She told me that antidepressants are vital to depressed individuals, and they are not addictive, illegal street drugs. Enough about that.
So you see, I knew both Marshalls, and I have remained quiet until now, because he has become vindictive.
Does he believe in what he's doing? The fact that he cheated his friends tells me that he does not. Now, he's working more on the Torah Code project and trying to link that with 2012. These are kindly people who seem to be unaware of this cheating. I hope that they don't find out the hard way, the way that my other friend and I did. And I hope that they obtained a contract with him, as I had no such luxury. No contract. A handshake between "friends" was all. It was stupid of me. I won't do that again with anybody, friend or business contact.
Do I believe in what I did? Although I loved the stories in the Kolbrin Bible, and they drove me to work with it, I don't believe that their predictions relate to this time. Although it is a bible in the literary sense (a collection of authoritative books), it is not in the religious sense (a guide to a G-dly life). However, I never intended to harm anyone. I believe in the Holy Bible in general and the Torah in particular. If my work has affected anyone to turn away from believing in G-d, I sincerely apologize.
I only have one request; anyone who has figured out my name, please don't post it. I am a private person, and I intend to stay that way.
Blessings,
SC
What about Graham Hancock?
Sometimes I wonder also, are they really trying to just make money or do they actually believe what they write. I mean someone like me who doesn't know much about this stuff at all can read or hear something and it sounds so true that it is scary. Espically The History Channel, how can they do that its awful. I wonder if they realize the impact they have on people.
Hi Kathy,
I think the dollar signs are obscuring their vision. As long as the money keeps rolling in, they will continue, regardless of the effect on people.
What about David Wilcock? I listen to him just for the laughs.
The only man with the word "cock" in his name that I had ever taken seriously was Alfred Hitchcock.
