An old woman wrote to a NASA website and said that her cat was her only friend in the world and asked should she have it put down so it didnt suffer in '2012'.
This kind of thing is upsetting.
I don't know whether i blelieve it or not but i hope i get a chance to finish college, get married, have children and grow old before I die. Someone in power should come out publicly and reasure us all, i fear that there will be extremists who believe in this and will hurt themselves or others because they will think that they are going to die anyway.
If the world was indeed going to end, the goverments in the world would already obviously have confirmed this a long time ago.. even if this were true ( because there are people who say that the goverments are trying to cover it up to prevent worldwide chaos ) it would surely not be possible to cover up an such an extreme secret..
I almost find it painfull to plan for the future when i am uncertain that there is one.
