hello my name is sebastian im 15 but not illiterate personally idk what to believe because with how worthless life really is but i guess i am worried not for myself but my 12 yr old brother i could care less about myself dying but i dont want my fam to anyways my reason for messaging your site is because 3 to 5 months ago i saw a commercial on cartoon network about a hospital opening a 2012 survival shelter i unfortunetley do not remember the hospital name but this is bullshit i asked yahoo!answers a question about 2012 that didnt help my thoughts or bro hopefully you will change my mind i want to believe nostadamus's prediction but the 2012 is killing me all i know is if the world ends im goin to canada haha i need to figure this rumor out for my family i am an Emo kid(suicidal thought feminine SUPER skinny jeans despressed)i am a male plz help

hi i am a mum with 4 kids.i come on this site most days to see how pple are .1st hun you at 15 yrs old should not be thinking life is worthless!! you 15 you hvnt lived yet! life is what you make it .and no matter what bad things will happen .but also alot off good will happen .this site if you take time to read.follow all the links.you will come to see that 2012 is just another hoax.ihve read about all the dates when the worlds is meant to end .the 1 i laughed about was in 3033 the world will end coz of aliens..which i thought are well i be dead by then .i do believe that this world will end in millons of years to come.every think must end 1 day hun .but we are clever people we aint the dinosaurs .so man kind wont die out.me i think we live on a diff plant .but yes thats my thoughts..i see on sci fi tv .all the films about the world ending.as every 1 willl tell you its all for money.we as man kind can be scared but we hve to watch ..me i dont beleive what nostadamus's says .when i was 16yrs old i was scared as he said that there be world war 3 when i was 18yrs old ..im still waiting .am 33yrs old now ..know 1 knows what going to happen..you and yr bro should just enjoy life .it is worth it as there say 2mro never cums..

Hi Sebastian,
I'd be willing to bet that the commercial you saw was for The Institute for Human Continuity. That is a fake institute with a website set up by Sony Pictures to advertise the movie 2012. They pretended there was a lottery to determine who would be saved. In reality, there is no institute, no lottery, no arks, and no doomsday. There are no survival shelters because the entire 2012 doomsday story is a hoax. There were no ancient prophecies and neither Nostradamus nor the Mayans ever mentioned 2012 (except for one damaged inscription about something descending to something). Their calendar isn't ending, only moving into the next cycle just as ours did last week. Please read some of the pages here about the crackpots responsible for this hoax and why their end of the world scenarios are impossible. Don't worry. The world isn't going to end in 2012.

OMFG!! How can they air those commercials on Cartoon Network?! It's crazy!! I mean kids are watching those channels and they are in ages from 3-10, they sould'nt be a part of this, they are the one's that sould be left alone. >:(

I agree, but I don't think the people marketing that movie and other doomsday trash care who they hurt. It's all for the almighty dollar.
