So happy that I found this site. I will not spend another minute laying in bed thinking and thinking about "what if they are right?" I was watching a 2012 show on the History channel and I was thinking to myself, "Hey wait, I'm confused." They were talking about how this "great water" showed up out of nowhere and destroyed everything, but they said it happened BEFORE the Mayans wrote about it. How can that be? If it came and killed everyone and everything how were they still around to write about it? Anyone else see this documentary? Does anyone else know about this "dragon spewing water from the sky?" This is what they NOW say will kill us all. I guess they needed to move onto something new.

Thanks, and welcome to the site!

The kind of thing you describe on the History channel seems to be their main fare these days. They take some legend, and blow it all out of proportion, and then claim some nebulous and undefined link to 2012, and off they go.

To me, the description of a "dragon spewing water from the sky" could be explained simply by a tropical storm. We know that tropical cyclones have hit that area in the past, and will do so in the future. So the question becomes *why* do they try to make this into some global catastrophe, and *why* do they try to link it to 2012? The answer appears to be that it gets ratings.

Hi Debbie,
I'm very glad you found us too. The Hysteria Channel has gone from showing history to showing sensationalistic garbage. They may be getting more viewers this way, but their reputation has tanked. People are gradually learning to not believe what they see there. I'm glad you aren't letting their ridiculous programs scare you.

FYI, it's not just the History channel, so far from what I've seen it's National Geographic and HInt (History International). They all need to atract viewers and more ratings. So they compete with all this crap!
