Hey guys. Um, I used gto be scared of 2012, but Im really happy I found this site.(I also found it really ironic and creepy that I am now 12 years old, but Im over it.) But, today, I came across something. Something confusing, as you mightve guessed, and I was wondering that you wouldnt mind in helping me, even if it probably has nothing to do…

But, anyway, back to the point.

So I was listening to music, I was listening to Muse more specifically, and I was reading the comments and someone said something about NWO.

New World Order Conspiracy???

Well, I got curious. SO, even thought Wikipedia isnt the best place to do research, I looked it up on there to see what came up.

The government trying to control us??? Turn us into robots??? Reptiles????

What are they talking about???

I dont think it has anything to do with 2012, but, I really dont get it, and this is the only place where I know people who know how to handle…eh big stuff? So, I was wondering if you guys knew anything about it , and if you would be so kind to explain it to me. I dont really expect a response, but whatever, it was worth a shot. I really really want to know, its kinda creeping me out. This whole NWO thing. Please help if want/can/are willing to.

Just complete nonsense. The NWO is just a conspiracy theory believed by the same people that MIGHT also believe the 2012 hoax. Who are these people- the NWO? Whoever they are they are certainly doing a very poor job of controlling the one world government. They can't agree on anything! :)

Just more dumb people believing anything with absolutely no critical thinking skills.

The whole 'New World Order' paranoia comes out of the right-wing 'Christian Identity' movement. Basically the people who believe in this think that liberals, communists, 'the global elite', freemasons, the Illuminati, and whoever else they can throw into the mix (like Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro) are all out to establish a leftist world totalitarian government. They reflexively oppose things like 'globalism' (which they have turned into a negative, because it's obviously bad to consider how one nation's actions might affect the rest of the world), 'global warming' (which they see as a fraud designed to reduce the sovereignty of the United States and increase the influence of other countries), gun control, the IRS (or for that matter, any government agency such as the FBI, the CIA, or even the Treasury Dept). Many of them see AIDS as an attempt by the fictional "NWO" to reduce global population, and NASA is obviously putting up mind control satellites.

It has obvious ties to various survivalist groups, and the paranoid fear and loathing of any form of authority is deeply embedded in these groups.

It's all nonsense… paranoid ravings.
