I have 2 babies & I'm scared

Summary:

I spent most of my life in homes & placement until I got free 2 years ago...Now I have two boys 18 mo. & 6 mo. I am so scared they are going to lose their opportunity to live life. I plan to raise them to be productive members of society & I am scared I won't get the chance to!! Please help me over-come this b4 I go crazy...I'm scared of what I will does those few days.

Unfortunately I live my life scared of everything basically..I check electrical sockets & fan blades all day…I refuse to sleep until the sun comes up…which means from about 6am to 9am, is when I get to rest..It sucks bad I am only 20 years old. hi !!! i am a mum also with 4 kids ..i live my life 4 them..i cant help you with all the science stuff..but i can help you by saying..this 2012 world gonna happen aint true hun…we would see the signs..earthquakes that are happen now ..happen every yr..if u look the bad weather stuff you see this is been happen 4 yrs..i say that its earth givin us a wakeup call..lettin us no that we little ple on a big planet…we know more now than in the 1800s/ early 1900s coz we hve more tec stuff to find things hun…and if which is a big if..a comet was gonna hit us..i think that we can do sumthink to stop it..we hve cum a long way 4rm the dinosours hun..the pple on here will help u see better than me..plz stop worryin..be happy and keep livin past 2012..as yr boys need you happy and healthy…

Hi Dana,
From your post, it sounds as if you are fearing a lot more than a fake doomsday. I'm not a doctor, but your repeated checking of things like electrical sockets and fan blades sounds like you may suffer from OCD. That is a common medical disorder that can be treated. You should consider seeing a therapist to see if that is the problem. Your doctor should be able recommend one. As I said, I am not a medical doctor or a therapist, so don't consider this a diagnosis. Just check with your doctor and a therapist to diagnose and treat this problem. As for the 2012 doomsday, that is pure fantasy invented by frauds and scam artists, so please don't worry about it.

Dana,

Your life experience as you describe it would make anyone feel uncertain and anxious. I wish you all the success in the world in raising your boys. You may have a lot of worries in your life, but one you can unequivocally eliminate is this 2012 garbage. The scaremongers cherry pick anything they can from antiquity that they feel will stir up enough fear to cause people to buy their worthless products. These are people who know less about science than a flat Earth young Earth creationist Moon hoax believer.

Hi dana,
Im 10 and im scared of what will happen but when i read this site i did not bileve in this kind of stuff anymore well only earthquakes cos' i know what happened in chile and haiti
anyway dont be scared about it anymore! u know in 06-06-06 they said its the apocalypse just because the number of the date are the same but nothin happened it was the same in 2009 but nothin happened the same will be in 2012 so plz plz dont be scared anymore if u live like this it will be bad for ur children is well cos' they see u worried and will get scared!

Hello Dana, I understand that you are afraid that something will happen to your kids, I truly do understand that. But I don't think that 2012 is the problem because if you think about it 2012 is pretty impossible, if something where to happen in 2 years we would see it now, but we don't.

I noticed that you wrote that you are scared for everything. :P I think that you are afraid that something might happen to your kids and you can't do nothing about it and when people are feeding those scares to you, you won't stop thinking about it. I hope you get my point.

But 2012 is not true! :)
