I have read, watched video presentations about Jenkins, Wilcock, Tsarion, Icke and many other new agers. To be honest, they are full of mistakes regarding Astronomy, they are spreading false news, some people are gullible and believe it because they don’t do their research. Jenkins claims in his website http://alignment2012.com/whatisGA.htm, that galactic alignment occurs only once every 26000 years. He is completely wrong!. One cannot pinpoint the galactic plane, due to the speed of our Sun through space. The sun is already some 65light-years north of the galactic equator and is flying northward at 495000 miles per hour. At this speed, it takes around 2160 years for the Solar System to travel a distance of 1 light-year. In 16 million or so years, the Sun will be at its northernmost point, (aprox 7400 light-years), with an amplitude aprox 350 Ly above the galactic plane. I don’t know what kind of galactic plane is Jenkins talking about???. Our Solar System exited the galactic equator some 140000 years ago(some 65light-years north of the galactic equator). Galactic alignment occurs twice in a cycle of 64 million years. In other words, galactic alignment occurs approx every 32 million years. Other big mistake is, he claims that it will take the sun 36 years to precess (half of a degree in precession) through the Galactic equator. This only would be true if the sun had no motion and in alignment with the galactic plane, which is not the case. People don’t get it….WE ARE 65 LIGHT YEARS ABOVE THE GALACTIC EQUATOR!!!!! It’s pure and simple maths and one doesn’t have to be Einstein………..Logic and common sense is all you need. Let’s see Jenkin’s assumption whether it makes sense. it’s aprox 100 light year thick. 1ly = 6 trillion miles or 2160 years. It will take the sun to cross the galactic equator aprox 216000 years and not 36 years as Jenkins claim, simply because the sun is in constant motion and its speed is 495000 miles/hour. Sun’s diameter 870000 miles (half its diameter 435000 miles) and 36 years equals 315360 hours. The expansion of the sun (half its diameter), would be 0.68 billion miles in a half year.
Therefore, in 36 years the sun should expand a distance of aprox 49 billion miles. According to Jenkins or any other who embraces his kind of theory, from 1980 to 2016, the sun should have moved only 435000 miles in 36 years. It means that the Mayan sun has a speed of 1.4 miles an hour!!!. Jenkins, is telling people in his website and video presentations, that from the time the tangent (galactic equator) touched the center-point of the body of the sun(in 1980 December solstice), till the time it exits touching at the other end of the circumference(2016 December solstice), it will take 36 years!!!. What about the sun’s speed?. Our Sun, with its speed of 495000 miles per hour, would cover the distance of its half diameter of 435000 miles in just 0.875 hour (52 minutes) and not 36 years as the 2012 people or John Major Jenkins claim!!. New agers explanations regarding Cosmology, it’s wrong, a misinformation and people believe it. This is a conspiracy of making something out of erroneous facts, to keep humanity in darkness and asleep. The reality is very different; new agers forgot the speed of the sun through space, and remember that Earth goes wherever the Sun goes. I go with facts and science, not with some kind of colored mayan wheel and artifacts. This is what I know regarding the solar system. The sun’s motion along the galactic plane, it’s an expanding and helicoidal motion, describing a sinusoidal pattern. Lot scientists say the sun moves in a circular motion and I think they are wrong because a spiral is not a circle and vice versa. Due to this helix motion, the sun moves closer to (perigalacticon) or farther from the central bulge of our galaxy (apigalacticon). Right now, our Solar System is aprox 26000 Ly away from the central bulge. In 32 million years (+/- 2million years), our Sun will be at only 20800 Ly away from the galactic bulge or 5200 Ly closer (perigalacticon). As the sun moves away from the galactic bulge and reaches its height 16 million years later (a quarter of 64 million years cycle or 7400 Ly)), is when major glaciations and major extinctions occur. This happens as the sun begins its journey to the south of galactic equator, farther away from the central bulge, to its 26000 Ly position or half cycle of +/- 32 million years. Just imagine what will happen to our planet if we were close to the sun or vice versa. Due to Perigalacticon, our solar system is heating up (global warming) and this may lead to global cooling. The helical motion of the sun is characteristic of an electric charged and magnetized universe. Anything that exists in the universe has a shape in the form of a helix. Look at our DNA, the water currents, the planets, the galaxies, the atoms, electrons, electric and magnetic waves….etc. It’s a fractal universe, in other words, infinity within the boundaries of the finite. This magnetic-electric universe creates vortices and which in turn relate to each other through plasma. The universe is not a vacuum, is teeming with life (protons, electrons, neutrons, plasma, magnetism). Maybe some scientist’s brains are in a state of vacuum, to which I will concur. Our solar system already crossed the galactic equator to the north side; with a velocity vector directed towards declination +30 degrees north (constellation of Hercules) and right ascension 17h and we are moving towards the central bulge. This side of our galaxy generates a shock wave that exposes the Earth to high-energy radiation every 64 million years or so. Our Solar System, because still in the galactic disc, cosmic rays will be hitting Earth, energetic particles of plasma, X-rays…etc, possibly could cause various problems such as changes in weather, climate, damage DNA within humans and other animals, in other words, a massive extinction. So, as the solar system is moving to the north side of the Milky Way’s plane, we will be bombarded by more cosmic rays from the Virgo constellation. The southern side of the galaxy is safer for our solar system, because we get protection from this deadly cosmic radiation by the galactic plane that acts as a shield. The galactic centre is a very dense area; it’s where cosmic dust, gamma rays, plasma ejected from the blackhole, comets and asteroids are located.
The sun has a cycle of 64 My and crosses the galactic disc approximately every 32 My and not what some new agers claim. They spread false information by saying that our sun crosses the galactic plane every 26000 years; this is wrong and completely false. 26000 years, is the amount of time it takes to the earth to precess or rotate around its axis to complete a 360 degree period. All the galactic phenomena or other external physical forces occurring in our Milky Way, occurred in the past history of our Universe and more or less the cycle is just repeating itself. Our solar system may encounter all those dense cosmic clouds of the spiral arms, explosions, gamma ray bursts, hot plasma ejected from the blackhole (Sagittarius A), but our planet Earth will survive. It could be a nightmare and a tough ride but not the end of the world. Asteroids, in particular in the Oort cloud, Kuiper belt, could be disturbed or destabilized out of their orbit and hurl toward earth. Intense volcanic activity, intense earthquakes, tsunamis, global cooling and meteor showers could be expected as well. Global cooling effect could happen if intense cosmic dust blocks the sun’s rays from reaching earth, intense volcanic activity, or if asteroid strikes the earth like 64 or 32 million years ago as an example. Guess what..!! we are still here. Solar flares could knock down satellites and everything that depends on it such as internet, cellphones….etc will be affected; well, is not bad to have a break and start listening to one’s inner self and if you want to make a call, you could use smoke and mirrors, a flag, flashlight or a couple of tin cans. Possible eruption of Yellowstone caldera anytime in the next years, due to the intense heating up of our solar system. New agers claim that” humanity is going through some kind of spiritual crisis and paradigm shift”. We went through hundred millions of crisis, shifts and we are still here. Mayans and many other civilizations worshiped the sun and sacrificed people in the most horrible way. Those were satanic practices, like the ones practiced by the ancient Hindus, Phoenicians, Babylonian ancient Rome, Greece, East Asia to their god baal, moloch and lucifer as is known in the Bible. They sacrificed their own children in ritual killings, by cutting them into pieces or throwing them in the fire in order to appease their gods and their diabolic belief. How could they dare to say that these were smart people?????. How could I trust people who tell me that these were “good guys”???. The only one that sides with the devil, is the devil himself. There is plenty of evidence that shows advanced knowledge in Astronomy, Maths… in the Babylonian, Egyptian and Mesoamerican Civilizations because they all borrowed from the most ancient one which is the Hindu civilization. They inherited knowledge and they incorporated it into their cults, traditions as a form of worship because they didn’t understand it or maybe there is something in it that does hold some truth but we are unable to understand it. Symbols and signs are not easy to decipher and sometimes may lead to wrong conclusions and induce error. Cataclysmic events happened since the dawn of life on earth as the geological data shows, ice core samples, fossil records…Million of species went extinct and guess what..We, humans, are still here and we will continue to be here. Human beings are the most adaptable creatures, and the most difficult ones to get rid off !!!!!. So, don’t get scared or succumb to fear tactics by a bunch of people whose aim is purely financial. Do your research; use your guts and your common sense. The year 2012 will be just another year, it may look a little bit different. But believe me, you will be having your breakfast and getting ready for work. If something happens, two things may occur. Either we die or we live to suffer another day. Don’t let things mess up with your mind or let fear captivate your hearts. Always remember what Franklin Roosevelt said: “The only thing to fear is fear itself“. Cheers……..
