Recent Earth quakes - China - 7.0 and 400 deaths

This is a real earthquake amongst many Large earth quakes this past year that have been happening quite frequently. As much as I would like to believe its a scam - why are these earthquakes happening so frequently and are at such a large scale. The Chile earth quake, Haiti, China, and the mining earthquake - I don't believe in coincidences…..that word is similar to saying assume and to me I don't want to make an ass out of you or me. I just want to believe you guys but the facts are leading me to believe otherwise and I am extremely educated and have degree in electrical engineering. I also heard of a government created earthquake creator called haarp……maybe this is what is creating the earthquakes - please respond - thank you
