Have you seen this site? What do you make of it? Here is one story that caught my eye and kinda took me in cicles. Please give me your opinion.

Yes, we've seen it and consider it rather indecisive. In the article you referenced, he recites that tired old line about the "incredible accuracy" of the Mayan calendar. In truth, it is far less accurate than the Gregorian calendar which is the one we use today. The Maya didn't include anything to make up the extra (almost) 1/4 day per year, so they were losing a day every 4 years. So much for their incredibly accurate calendar. He also states that the calendar ends on December 21, 2012. That isn't true. The long count cycle ends and restarts, the same way our calendar does every year. He says that no one knows what the Maya expected to happen. According to Mayanist scholars and the modern Maya, they expected nothing more nor less than a big celebration upon completion of a cycle.
Most of the claims made in that article are loaded with weasel words, refuted on this site or both. The author also seems to suffer from WOTS (Wall-of-Text Syndrome). I suspect the pattern holds true across many of the other articles.

When that site first started, I was still writing my massively long "2012 is a hoax" article on my personal blog. I wrote a comment to the first article offering to share information, but I never received a response. It quickly became apparent to me that the author was not actually doing any research, but rather was parroting a lot of the doomsday talk.
Despite the name of the site, the author does not lay the groundwork for showing that the 2012 doomsday is a hoax, and tends to waffle on the core issues (i.e., "it could be this, but again it could mean that" etc. ) The site is also repeating many of the common misunderstandings (for example it claims in that article that the "Mayan Calendar ends" on 12/21/2012, which we show is simply not true).
