I can't believe I didn't come across this site sooner. Mountains of 2012 information all in one place, how handy.
A few months back - I don't even remember why even more - I got into all things Nibiru, and by get into I mean I posted an awful lot of comments to videos that involved "No, that's not right at all…" One day, one comment got too much for someone, who promptly blocked me, at which point I gave myself a stronger voice: I made my own videos of the nonsense of Nibiru. Indeed, Nibiru Nonsense is what the series was called, shameless plug to the playlist right about here.
It began with the classic claims, it branched into the likes of censorship, cognitive bias and the importance of research, but at its heart are Nibiru claims, and how they are nonsense. Pretty simple really. And it got quite a response from some people… One person even challenged me to come clean, to reveal myself as a government worker or else he would. And so I challenged him to do so. He didn't, or is still trying, I don't know which. Suffice it to say, he's not the only commenter who believes I am paid to debunk, or spread misinformation or what have you. I dunno - if it disagrees with your beliefs, it must come from the government, right?
Still, I have found similarly like minded people who debunk claims in other ways, and for other topics, and of course sites like these with people working just as hard. As I say in one of my videos, I do the research that you don't bother to do yourselves.
Keep it going, I'll keep reading, I may chip in to these threads when something catches my eye. It does sadden me though that all this effort will most likely end up with 2012 coming and going, and a change in site name to 2029hoax or whatever. It's as though people actually want the world to end within their lifetimes.
How on earth have we people even got this far with desires like that? Barmy. Anyway, yes, keep it up, and here's to 2012. Hip hip.
