Ever since I've seen the special on the History Channel, i can't get it out of my head. I can't eat, sleep or function daily because the fear has consumed me. I've read through this page and the discussions, but i don't feel any better. I am worried that we are like a ticking time bomb….I have my whole life ahead of me, and now people are predicting that 2012 is the end. Please help with my fears!!! Please no harsh comments, I am truly terrified……

The History Channel has become the Fiction Channel. None of those 2012 shows have any basis in fact. If you'll notice, they routinely use weasel words and do their best to avoid actually making definitive claims. It's all, "So and so says," and "So and so believes…." None of those claims are peer-reviewed or supported by scientists, because it isn't science. It's baloney.

Just about everything claimed by History Channel shills is debunked on this website. If you've truly already read through everything here, I don't know what I can tell you that you haven't already seen. Without you noting a specific claim that is bothering you, I can't even direct you to more information.

Hi "Terrified";

I'm sorry that the show on the History Channel has you upset. I'm not sure which one you saw, because the History Channel has produced and run something like 7 different 'specials' with a 2012 theme. It's pretty ridiculous of them, in my opinion.

If you wouldn't mind detailing the specific claims you heard that have you upset, we'd be in a better position to advise you.
