You may want to consider what some people (and woo woos) are saying that it's possible the 2012 date is wrong and the actual end of the Long Count Calendar is either in October 2011 or December 2013.
The first? Calleman, pure and simple.
The second? "People" speculate 2012 is inaccurate due to the possibility the date in relation to the Long Count Calendar is taken by inserting a Year 0 in the Gregorian Calendar, when the Gregorian Calendar actually started on 1. (PS: As a result this means Jan 1st 2001 was the new millennium, not Jan 1st 2000).
In other words, it might mean that this website will need a rename to "2013hoax" after 2012 goes by, if we consider that the dates are mismatched. Oh and there's October 2011 but eh.
Thoughts on this? Think the comparison of the calendars is botched by and 2013 is the "real" oh button, thus why the Modern-Day Mayans shrug off 2012? Oooo spooky thought there
If the whole Mayan Spiritual belief thing has any ground, or whatever Monument Six suggests, looks like we get to look forward to it happening in '11, '12, or '13.
Gosh, If I want one thing to end, it's this crap. Once and for all.
(PSS: Zomg Astrogeek knows the truth about it being in 2011 or 2013 and thus this website is blinding us. BLINDING US ALL!!!!!!)
(PSSS: That was my impression of a woo woo.)
(PSSSS: Wish I could sleep through the next three years, even if it'll never put an end to end of the world dates :|)
