So, I'm watching the History Channel as I read through some of the articles. They keep talking about the Hindu and their prophecies. They keep saying how smart and educated and blah blah blah the Hindu are. Not trying to bash a religion or beliefs, but HELLO THEY WORSHIP RATS BECAUSE THEY THINK "ROYALTY" LIVES INSIDE A FEW OF THEM. I'm sorry, but I REFUSE to believe a culture who worships something that killed 1/3 of Europe. Plus, India and the surrounding areas have had some of the worst mutations in history going on, maybe it's making their brains mutate to? Does anybody think I'm crazy or is it just me?
Hm… No. I don't agree with you.
In fact, I am having a hard time seeing this post as anything less than an ethnocentric rant… maybe even a bit racist. You should think about why you have such a hard time with the Hindu. The fact of the matter is that there is one, and only one, temple devoted to 'rat worship' in all of India. While the Hindu philosophy regards all life as sacred, the idea that all Hindus worship rats is untrue.

Animal Worship is not uncommon.
I apologize to the religious folk in advance, Astro included..
I would much rather worship a rat, despite the diseases that they do carry, than to worship an invisible man in the sky whose existence turns Mankind against themselves.
In fact, I find it to be disgusting and astonishing that the idea of God can turn us against each other, the greatest example in history is the Holy War
And people rave about how 2012 is the end, because our current times are crazy, I would have liked to see these people living back in those times.

My deity is Boo, the Miniature Giant Space Hamster.
GO FOR THE EYES, BOO!
"Miniature Giant"?
I suppose we'll start an oxymoron thread now?

You will not question Boo, sir.
EVERY HAMSTER HAS HIS DAY!
I suppose we'll start an oxymoron thread now?
I have come to the conclusion that at least 95% of these doomsayers spew something that is oxymoron. They, themselves, are just moronic.
You will not question Boo, sir.
I've always been partial to Huckleberry Hound.
