By and large, the "New World Order" is a fiction of the religious right, who associate it with their particular view of the "end times".
As far as the "FEMA Camps"… I have only seen a few pictures of these camps circulated. Most of them turned out to be known locales, such as state prisons. One was a prison camp… in North Korea. Another turned out to be an actual FEMA facility… but it wasn't a "Camp", it was a storage yard.
So far I have seen zero evidence of "FEMA Camps". Now, being the objective sort, I would welcome some actual evidence of claims made, but as of yet, the people making these claims have not been able to provide it. But then again, what's another group calling me a 'paid government shill' and 'disinformation agent' when I ask those inconvenient questions? I'm getting rather used to it. I just wish a big paycheck came attached.
As far as Google Maps… Google maps uses publicly available satellite imagery, some of which originates in other countries, especially the ESA's ERS and Envisat programs, as well as various commercial satellite systems. This presents a problem for the conspiracy theorists. How does the U.S. Government control what happens in the foreign press? There are various countries with access to the ESA imagry, as well as their own <cough>(Russia)<cough> imagery. Some of these countries have very little love for the U.S., and would love to point out that the U.S. Government is lying to its citizens.
So, perhaps the source of this rumor would care to scan the front page of the major European newspaper (Pravda, for example) where it shows the 'censored' image from google side-by-side with their own uncensored source?
