Well, let's see… New Orleans… 2005… in the aftermath of Katrina.

Why would they do that? I don't know, looting and rioting perhaps? You are aware that martial law has been declared in select regions of the US during times like Katrina and its aftermath. When the crisis is over, martial law is lifted. This is nothing new or unusual.

Are you saying that New Orleans is still under martial law? And… what does this have to do with 2012?

Not sure, but you don't see that happening anymore do you? That video was from 2005.

You probably didn't notice the date at the beginning of the video. It was September 8, 2005. As several have said, that was during the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. What hasn't been mentioned is that some people in New Orleans actually shot at rescue workers. Anyway, that was 5 years ago and it was a temporary measure.
