Okay. I have been brainwashed by these conspiracy theorists. How can I debunk some of these videos myself? People in the army are talking about these FEMA camps are real and there's knowledge that we don't know and only government knows? What if they were right? I mean the military and army have a lot of stuff.

Ugh.

OK, from my vicarious experience with the military (Two brothers in two different branches) the knowledge is very compartmentalized.

Your average GI Joe is not going to have special knowledge of FEMA camps or anything else. In addition, since the military went all-volunteer, the political cross-section of the average American soldier has skewed considerably to the right, and (according to my 'Army' brother) the average intellect has taken a serious nose-dive.

So, considering the above factors, I would say that it would not be all that surprising to find that large numbers of soldiers, especially in the enlisted ranks, would be susceptible to these kinds of beliefs.

BTW, this is not intended as a knock against anybody serving in any of the military branches. Their service is important and ultimately necessary to a free society. However, my sister-in-law at the time (this was in the 1980s) had the job of tutoring soldiers in basic education. She told stories of people in the military because they couldn't pass the math test at McDonalds.
