You have to laugh at these idiots who must spend all their time scouring images of the sky in an attempt to find something unusual. As I've said before, I'm always amused by the precision with which they give details of their 'discoveries'. I suspect that they really wanted to be scientists and make announcements of real discoveries, but their qualifications only permitted them to get a job frying burgers, so they like to play at being scientists by giving out all these 'accurate' but fake details.
After going to sky-map.org and finding the object pictured in the first link, I find that it measures 30 arcseconds from top to bottom. If it's 'beyond the orbit of Pluto' then it must be at least 500,000 miles across, not 150 as they claim.
Why do they bother?
I have a whole theory on Aliens if anyone wants to hear it.
My theory on aliens is that they may exist somewhere out there, but none are visiting us.
It's nothing short of nonsense to even propose that a civilization, much more intelligent and powerful than our own, is visiting our planet or, going to visit our planet, but is 'under the radar'.
Sure, an invisible entry is tactically sound, but if the beings are as dangerous as proposed, they have no reason to hide.
Therefore, if an alien civilization were to come to Earth, I would assume it would be an extermination of man, not a war. The reason that I say this, is because if they don't fire the first shot, we humans, and all of our ignorance, will probably fire the first shot out of fear. Because that's what we do.

Undeadnurse I agree with you if Aliens do exist and i do believe that they might what would they want with us I say that most of the people who believe Aliens want something with us might be a little bit crazy and i think people like Nancy Leider would probably prove my point.
I totally agree with you, UndeadxNurse. If they are Ark ships coming to pick us up, we won't be rescued from whatever they may be coming to save us from because our idiotic government's first reaction when they get near will be to bring out the big guns.

I'm puzzled by this, too. Of course, I'm also puzzled by people who cheat at games or whatever, then make a big deal out of the fact that they "won".

The first paragraph of the story is a dead giveaway that it is dead wrong.
"Recent light has been shed on the reason that the SETI (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project has been cancelled by the government. It seems that something was starting to happen. According to my sources the government black project boys have taken over some of the antennas and are now processing signals for the exclusive use of the United States Navy. The government seems to be highly upset that more than one very large object is fast approaching Earth."
Hogwash.
After government-funded SETI was cancelled (Congress, in its infinite stupidity, decided it was a waste of money), it continued on as a privately-funded non-profit organization. If "something was starting to happen", they could have brought it to fruition without the involvement of the U.S. government. It has been free of government involvement since 1995 and is alive and well, contrary to what the linked article says.
Taken over some of the antennas? Please. Not only does SETI have it's own battery of receivers, the Allen Telescope Array, SETI has operated at radio telescopes outside the U.S. This includes the 1,000 foot wide Arecibo Radio Observatory in Puerto Rico. It is powerful enough to detect a counterpart to itself at a distance of 15,000 light years. They would be able to see (hear?) the same things that the so-called "government black project boys" would. There is no way that the SETI scientists would keep this secret once they obtained independent confirmation per their protocols.
Hmmmm i am really not sure what to make of this :/

Silly, maybe. We're all silly in our own right, even those of us who seem so serious.
Personally, I'm not sure what to make of a lot of things, but after hearing that aliens were supposed to arrive in 2000, 2002 and 2009… I stopped believing the alien card.

Things change.
What's different now, is that you could be under more stress that could be contributing to fears, worries, etc.
To be quite honest, I've never believed any of the doomsday theories, not even when I was a kid, but I can see how some people can buy into it, I was raised with pretty harsh, in your face facts of life so I suppose that I was already prepared for the everyday ignorance that people will throw my way, but others aren't so prepared, it seems.
Just remember, though, a lot of things can contribute to this, if you're stressed about something else, then this may be an outlet of some sort. I've seen stranger things.

Yeah there has been a lot of stress in my life so far this year, I have always had a big thing with the end of the world and such things, Aliens however have never bothered me. can't get my head around my thinking at all :/ don't make a whole lot of sense really :s I am sure i will be though, I have been through worse in the past 2 and a half years :)

Well, except for mine, I can personally say that my 2010 has been pretty good, so far, but others who have been having a difficult time this year, I hope that you, Emmylou and those others will be able to get your lives worked out and hopefully have a much better time for the rest of this year or, at least have a good year in 2011.

I am so hoping the same for myself it would be great to have one year when i have no fear at all, I am wanting to go back to college and do Physics and Maths :) and head over to Geneva to visit CERN \o/ so much to look forward too :D
My year has not been that bad really i am sure there is plenty of people who have had worse. But next year i am gonna chillout completely or at least try too :)

No, there is no evidence for spaceships heading here and the two links in the first video are no exception.
Have you watched Juju's video?
In it, you will see that the images of 'spaceships' are between 10 and 60 years old, so these craft are certainly taking their time to get here. Maybe they've broken down and are waiting for the alien repair/recovery service.
In reality, they're just image artifacts.
If you don't mind me asking, who told you the Government hid an asteroid from us?
I say this because it was discovered October 9th, confirmed, estimated in size, it's trajectory calculated and by time we knew that much it's time to watch it hurtle across the sky and out of view.
For someone to have even suggested that this has been hidden from the public is absurd, and sounds like someone wants to jump onto each and every piece of news they find and mash it into their vision of how the world works - i.e. make stuff up with what little they know about the subject in the hope of convincing others with less information. A dirty tactic in anyone's book.
Linking this back to the initial spaceship claim, people have been anomaly hunting every source they can get their hands on for years. Where the rational amongst us see something unusual and investigate what it could actually be, the irrational jump to conclusions, conclusions which just happen to fit their beliefs… if you're alien hunting, every image anomaly you hunt down will somehow be involved and explained by how you think aliens work, rather than, say, how the camera wasn't working properly or whatever. Funny how that works.
Wait an Asteroid flew by us and no one saw it did it make a sound.
No, it was in space, no one can hear you fart. I mean scream. No one can hear you, or an asteroid, scream.
But we did see it, Juju links to an animation, I'm sure others will crop up over the next few days, plenty of amateur astronomers would have leapt to this, even if they didn't have the best of chances to see it.

The asteroid that flew by this morning was discovered only three days ago. It was never due to collide with our planet, and the government didn't hide anything. Wherever you got your information about a collision and government cover-up, that information is wrong.

Well, I don't know if this helps or makes things worse, but such objects are whipping by Earth all the time. Sometimes the smaller ones (like the one that flew by yesterday) aren't discovered until they're close enough to see. New rocks are discovered regularly. This one was on the lower end of close (not far from satellite distance of about 36,000 km), but it wasn't entirely unusual, either.
For what it's worth, even if such an object did collide with our planet, the impact effects, even assuming the worst possible conditions, would be minor. Moreover, almost 71% of the earth is covered by water, so these things usually land in the ocean.
Try not to worry about it. ;)

You do need a drink, because they flatly can't exist. It's impossible to say that we can see Spaceships that aren't even a fraction of Pluto's size… and yet we can't see Pluto in the same image.
Consider that. Besides, they'd have been here by now =P Those pictures are older than most of us.
