I came across this and was wondering what any of you think I think it may be another way that they are trying to scare people and I will leave some of what I heard and I dont believe anything like that will happen and would love for answers if anyone can help?

This 'solar system heating' and 'planetary vibrations' and 'subtle changes in the planets', I hear this often. Can anyone shed some light ont his?

Really i wonder how much numerology was used in these claims because the Bible as has been said numerous times it says NOTHING about 2012 or any other specific date for the End of the World.

In a nut shell, rubbish. Each planet has it's own way of doing things regarding global warming type effects, and last I read Uranus may well have been cooling down, so all talk of "the Sun causing every planet to heat up" is just another set of buzz words to try and get people to listen. And that's forgetting the small matter of seasons. Not just Earth that has them, and when it takes 160 odd years to orbit the Sun like Neptune, you're going to have to give the simplest explanations some thought.

With a new massive object in the solar system as oh so many claims include, we'd expect to see changes, and probably pretty drastic ones. We haven't seen anything at all. But then if this is the wording they use, 'subtle changes' can be applied to anything it's so vague.

The whole spiritual side of things is frankly a cop out, it's not like you can test whether the human populace has had a spiritual awakening when the very people claiming it will take place can't even explain why it will take place.

Hey guys, sure have missed you all!!!

Concerning the spiritual side of things, this is something that many of people are battling concerning 2012 and 'end times.' I have to admit that since I am completely comfortable with the physical proponents of 2012, I sometimes battle with the spiritual side of such ideas. As someone who grew up with a certain religion that was 'forced' upon me, I have been delving into others to see if and where I can fit my particular beliefs. With this new search, I have run into many complications (and theories) revolving around Jesus' second coming and whatnot. All the prophecies (the massive amount of floods, sinkholes and events such as the toxic sludge in Hungary and the turmoil in the Middle East) are supposedly being fulfilled and this signifies the end of the world. I know that Laura mentioned this in some her posts and I have met people like her in-laws very recently and it's kinda taken its toll on me as well.

Moo, I'd like to get your side of this…being a proclaimed atheist, can you give me your opinion on these such events being 'linked' with the end times and whatnot? You have had a way of putting things into a different perspective for those of us who are not atheists.
