Great Site : So I Came Here

I find this site really good in terms of content and decent in terms of production. I've been on YouTube, a few of you may have already seen me (although I'm not terribly prolific). I hope to be able to sharpen a few arguments to help debunk 2012 hoax(es) and give pats on the back where they are deserved.

Oh, and be able to speak, so long as it is within the rules, without being banned for content (although I have an entertaining set of screenshots of deleted comments on YouTube.)

Thought I'd ask this: is there a section on bait-and-switch and/or object confusion? I see that employed a lot, and don't see much on that.

Welcome to the site!! Yes, I recognize the name. Thanks for coming here, and thanks for the kind words. The site is only as good as people (like you) care to make it.

The rules are fairly straightforward. The only thing we've had to clamp down on was some threads spiraling out of control, and going way off-topic. This is a bit different than YouTube in that I know for a fact that children read the site and the forums, so it will be a bit stricter as far as allowable content.

There is not a section on bait-and-switch or object confusion per-se, but we are building a page on a certain youtuber, which amounts to about the same thing. <grin>

p.s., all YouTube production in the site's channel is the work of other people, mostly jim smith and 3WMElliott. I just 'favorite' the videos that make sense.

Oh, I'm familiar with (read: has comments deleted by) that certain youtuber. Part of my YouTube rite of passage. I've also finally gotten to the death threat level from another user. Such a charming crowd.

I've also been called an interesting variety of things, the two most interesting were an AI program and a Mossad agent.

Gah, you guys get specifics, I just get lumped with 'the government'. Bloody government.

But yes, welcome. Might not be as active as YouTube in certain areas, but there's enough here to pass the time.

Actually, it wasn't the toothless wonder or any of his posse… I think. I don't know them all that well. I had ventured into bad land (chemtrails) and MrHarry46 regailed me with this:

"this monkey should be found…taken outside his/her secure area and shot through the forehead"

Specifics are fun. We can use them to disprove 2012, or prove certain people are certified wacko's.

i love this site. Everyother i have seen i figured isnt true information, just scams. Yes im a mother and i was slowly freaking out but firgured please if they world was ending in 2012 why would they have credit cards past 2012 and cars. And so on. I dont believe anything i watch on t.v. people need to stop scaring little kids.
