today is the 10th of November. Does this mean that the people who predicted the end of the world when the LHC was turned on yesterday were wrong?

whats the main proponent who predicted the world to end yesterday when the LHC Was turned on because i would love to know if he/she has a website. i wonder does it have a new prediction xD

The LHC wasn't switched on yesterday it has been up and running since last November ;) we just switched to Heavy Ions over the weekend…..and yes most of the people that predicted something would go wrong have now changed the dates for when the LHC will end the world……..in my eyes they need to get a life and go have some fun ;)

There is a term for changing the dates for specious claims of doom and parameters of false claims, it's called moving the goalposts.
