Look at this. It even goes as far as to tie in the Aztec Sun Stone into being the actual Maya Calendar. And, if you go to the second page of the article, it has some other hilarious links within it as well.
I like the theory that the Milky Way Galaxy sucked in our solar system, and we're not really from it! Granted I didn't read all of these articles fully, but man I do like that there's a lot of 'detail' in this.
