nothing to worry /at max we may get a solar storm which at worst disrupt communication ,not our planet.

every 10 yr solar max and solar min approach. which produce solar storms/solar winds which create problems for our communication satellites. it may take place in 2012.other wise a calm cool winter day in north hemisphere and hot day in south hemisphere will only take place in 2012 dec 21. but as 2012 movie is quite popular people r doing beeline to temples and churches who later will be became laughing stock.

p.s. after 2012 they may shift doomsday to 2021

The solar cycle is actually a 11 year cycle with a second 22 year cycle in it.

I think 3 days ago we were hist by a solar storm getting our direction.
I have not heard any reports of problems.

Yes they always shift their doomsday since it is the best way to sell their books. It is a complete fraud system.
I did notice that when the LHC got fired up and nothing happened that a lot of Youtube clips magically got pulled from Youtube.
Of course those that still have their claims up are the laughing stock of the world. LOL.

The problem with internet is that it does not forget.

i may be wrong.but in tech news there was a post about telegraph communication snapped due to solar storms long back in 1930/1940. but tech has moved on. so i think our satellites will survive these solar storms. about neutrinos they cant create physical change i presume? whats ur opinion?

Neutrinos just goes through the complete Earth like Earth does not exist for a Neutrino.

Modern tech companies are aware of the solar storm problems, and technology has been upgraded.
Also newer satellites are taking it into account this potential storm.

It might still take time for every tech company to have the upgrades but they are aware of it.

Thanks for your kind words. Obaeyens is correct. The solar cycle is about 11 years, and neutrinos don't interact with matter so they aren't a problem. The Carrington Event, when the major damage was done to telegraph lines was in 1859. We've come a long way in technology since then. We could have some damage to satellites and electronics, but nothing life threatening.

thanks for the information you provided about solar winds and neutrino. these movies and youtube videos give a very odd kind of picture to common man. i will try to persuade my friends to know about the real thing from this site.
