Meteor Showers??

Hi All:

I was hoping someone could help me… I heard there is meteor showers going on and I know my son would love to see something like that. I live in MA. Does anyone know when is the best time or day to see them?

If I've got everything right, a few hours before dawn looking towards the East should be your best time. While you'll have a chance of seeing something whatever time you go out (as long as the Moon isn't too bright), you'll see the radiant of the Leonids around 5am ish, it'll get higher and higher by 7am, 8am.

But that was a quick look up, you'll probably find more info on somewhere like Meteorwatch.

Long story short is the longer you are outside and awake, the more you'll see.
