I just wanted to say that there is a big sigh of relief that so far, no one has said anything about wiki leaks regarding government docs on 2012. I guess that is a good sign meaning that it is all bulls**t. What do you think about all this wiki leaks stuff, could there be potential that a lot of people really scare people by creating fake documents. This could be a good topic to raise on this site since im sure that david morrison could have prbably have some docs exposed(unless he wouldnt worry because all his research is peer reviewed).
I guess that it is a sign of my confidence that the 2012 doomsday stuff is absolute bunk, that I never even thought of a Wikileaks connection to 2012 like this.

WikiLeaks started out righteous enough. Recently, it's turning into more terrorist-level activities.
My opinions are simple: It started out with noble, informing causes. Now, it's just becoming something that needs to be stopped.

The "terrorist-level activities" are all in the metaphorical court of the U.S. Government. Have you seen any of the "combat" videos from the Middle East? I think it's funny that politicians worldwide are in an all-out scramble trying to shut this stuff down. Personally, I hope and suspect that it is too late. OT, so I'll say no more.
@ Astrogeek
that I never even thought of a Wikileaks connection to 2012 like this.
I didn't, either, but ATS has recently featured some claims that upcoming WikiLeaks documents will reveal "the government's" fears and plans regarding 2012.
It doesn't appear to be a huge deal yet, but I've logged into YouTube maybe once in two months. I haven't kept up with things.
I am okay with those things, Juju. What I'm not okay with is the more recent leaks it has been giving out.
Again, the 'righteous truth' motives were… righteous. Recently, it's losing that appeal and bordering on the potential, potential to be noted, of innocent people possibly getting hurt. Granted the information given likely isn't 'rare', but now people are more 'aware' of it if they weren't.
As for ATS/Wikileaks 2012 crap, eh. Sounds like it'll be bogus.
Besides, Julian Assange was arrested anyway. We'll see what happens.
What I'm not okay with is the more recent leaks it has been giving out.
I'm fine with all of them, myself. Innocent people are already being hurt. I'd rather the world know about it than not.
As for ATS/Wikileaks 2012 crap, eh. Sounds like it'll be bogus.
Well, yeah. ATS is more of a mass speculative fiction brainstorm than a message board. I started posting there again recently. It hasn't changed.
Granted the information given likely isn't 'rare', but now people are more 'aware' of it if they weren't.
If this sentence is in reference to the current war at hand, then I'm glad that people are more aware of what's going on. I think that everyone needs a good dose of reality once in a while, especially the adults.
If, in reference to 2012.. Well, that's media for you.
Wie Sie säen, so sollst du ernten.

According to one of the "I was hired as a government research consultant into 2012 but I will reveal the truth if you buy my book and video for $47" scams, the US Government's research into 2012 has cost $100s of billions every year and the quantity of data collected is equivalent to 123 times the contents of the US Library of Congress. Completely ludicrous, of course.
Strange how not a scrap of this huge quantity of information has leaked out.
hey guys, have you guys searched to see if anything was released on 2012 on wikileak?
and it would make a good subject to add as a page on the website.
and what does ATS stand for?
I think that a lot of wikileaks documents are fake mixed with real ones just to spice things up.
The founder of Wikileaks might not intentionally fake the documents but these that sold the documents might have fabricated a lot of fake documents just just to sell it for big money.
You have to test the claims in the documents one by one. You cannot assume that these documents are real.
Nothing gets released until they're verified (define 'verified', that'd be the first question to ask), but I see the point you're making there. I don't agree it's actually going on, but another point nonetheless.
WikiLeaks is like Anonymous with rules, and at least through WikiLeaks it's done in an 'adult manner'. Even if it doesn't fulfill it's purpose of a news outlet, it serves as one heck of a moral and ethical talking point the world over.
What's just as interesting is that the up and coming Pirate Party are now hosting for them. That'll be something to watch, should it evolve into more than just a show of support for those ideals.
Long may it live on in some form and lead to something better.
