I'm trying to keep this on topic ,but i'm curious on what you guys think

Okay we all know that the history channel is well tv. I have a question on there show called ancient aliens. Now before we go into this I by no means believe in little green men zooming around in there space craft. I'm just curious if any of you have watched this shwo. I was once with my boyfriend and I fond it quite interesting to be honest. Of course I don't really believe what they were saying ,but I will admit they made it convincing enough. Question not related to 2012 at all ,but they said something about an ancient town I guess that all the people are face down and it seems as if there was an nuclear attack. I was wondering if any of you have heard about this and your thoughts if you have. I find this interesting and I wish I could remember the name of the place cause If I did I would be looking into it. Thanks for your time and I'm not saying anything about an alien invasion…

History channel lost all credibility for me. I am not watching it any more.

I haven't seen the show, but are you referring to the ancient city of Pompeii? It was covered by a volcanic eruption in 79 CE, not a "nuclear attack." Ancient astronauts visiting Earth is just another crazy conspiracy theory, and I'm not aware of any argument in favor of the claim that I would consider even remotely "convincing."

Obaeyens is right — the History Channel has become the Hysteria Channel. Whatever credibility it once had is history unto itself.

They make everything seem real. Remember it is TV and as for nuclear attacks in the prehistory, there have been several psudeo-historians who talk about that. I have heard the theory but I am not sure if it is tied with Nibiru and Sitchin.

Yes thats the place! Yeah i know I lost respect for it too I watch it once in a while for amussment I don't really believe it anymore either it's ending up like discovery channel…

It was a volcano eruption in 79 CE. The nuclear attack is just a speculation. But there wasn't this tecnology in 79 CE, obviously. But if this is true, aliens came to Earth in that year, found Pompeii and, for some reason, they destroyed the italian ancient city with a nuclear bomb. This isn't very likely…
