Has anyone here heard of Paul La Violette and his "Galactic Superwave" theory? And does he deserve a page debunking him?

Paul la Violette has a theory about the Galactic Superwave. This theory is being spread (example here) and become another proposal of doomsayers and it's being related to the Galactic Plane myth (that one which says "we will pass through the Galactic Plane in 2012, and it's debunked here).
The theory says, for example, that the superwave would destroy our ozone layer.

I will wait someone else debunk it, because I didn't find so much things about it.
