Lately, many users freaked-out because in US and other countries, mass deaths of animals happened. This frequently happen with different animals in different places. Just in US, this kind of thing is very frequent, how you can see here. This madness began in 31st December, when in Arkansas, more than 3000 Red-winged Blackbirds died with an unknown reason. After this event, the same thing happened in Sweden: 50-100 Jackdaws died. The reason of the sweden mass death was trauma, most likely caused by a vehicle.
The same thing happened in Maryland.
But while the birds was dying in Arkansas, 100,000 fishes died in Arkansas River. The same thing happened in the coast of Brazil, New Zealand and England.

3000 birds died in Arkansas. Pretty big number, but not the bigger. 100,000 fish died in Arkansas, too. Still, pretty big number, not the bigger. And, to make the thing more convincent, the media put other small and common incidents, like the Brazil, NZE and Sweden mass deaths events, which had just around 100 deaths.

Doomsday sign
Anyone can say that those events are a "doomsday sign", maybe for Harold Campings's prediction or for 2012. But if this is a doomsday sign, well… we are already dead, ladies and gentlemen!
