What cataclysms? What qualifies as a "cataclysm?" I have no idea how to respond to this, because the person hasn't identified what he or she is talking about.
Even the Mayans, who are only part of the equation accept a Huge Change in the Conscience of Man bought on by a period of 30-70 hrs of darkness….when we come out of this darkness the world would have changed….This is what they have always said but insist the world will not end!!!

Paul LaViolette has never demonstrated the veracity of his "theory" (which isn't actually a theory, but a claim), and the Sumerians had knowledge of no such thing. "Science" as a discipline has discovered no such thing. This entire statement by the poster is an out-and-out lie.
3. Earth Cycles i.e. repeated Ice Ages, Huge CME's, Doomsday Destructions, Worldwide Floods etc etc the ancients talked about these many thousands of years ago and guess what…..Science is only discovering these events have happened before!!

I don't know what a "huge CME" is supposed to be. Huge relative to what? Even the most massive CME is only a tiny fraction of our planet's mass, as we've discussed repeatedly on this board regarding the ideas of crank author Patrick Geryl.
Ice ages have been part of scientific knowledge for a long time. Surely this poster is aware that even the most rapid ice age on record was an event that occurred over no less than a thousand years or so.
4.Magnetic Field Weakening and Polar Reversals…again ancients have continually stated this has happened before and again you have guessed it….Science is now admitting to this……just watch all the numerous shows on Discovery & History Channels.
The earth's magnetic field has declined by roughly 10% over the last 150 years, and it is still well above its average strength over most of the planet's history. Even if a polar reversal were underway, it would take hundreds to thousands of years to happen, and you would never notice it.
I have no idea what the claim "Science is now admitting this" is supposed to mean. There's no evidence that any ancient culture knew about the earth's magnetic field or reversals thereof.
The Discovery and Hysteria Channels are not where you want to go if you want scientific information about geomagnetism. Try an actual scientific source.
5.Black Hole OR Dark Rift in the centre of our Galaxy…The Mayan,Hopis, Sumerian and others have spoken about this countless times over thousands of years and it was not until Dec 2008 that German Scientists could confirm we did in fact have a huge black hole in the centre of the galaxy!!!!
B.S. The black hole in the Galactic Center and the Dark Rift are not the same thing. The Dark Rift is simply a stretch of dust and plasma that lies between our Solar System and the center of the galaxy. It rather inconveniently blocks our view. There's nothing dangerous or magical about it, and it's 100 parsecs (3,085,680,250,000,000 km) away. The Galactic Center is 8,278.05 parsecs (255,434,267,000,000,000 km) away, or more than 82 times farther than the Dark Rift. It's not clear what the person is trying to claim here, but neither object has much of anything to do with Earth or our Solar System.
The listed cultures had nothing to say about these things.

No, asteroids and comets have not "increased." We've found more over the last couple of decades, because technology has allowed us to. Science didn't miss them. Science found them. More to the poster's implication, there's no evidence that Earth is in any danger of a cataclysmic impact anytime soon.

What is talked about is the ALIGNMENT with the EQUATORIAL Plane of the Galaxy….we oscillate up and down along the eqatorial plane and will again be in line in 2012…..once every 26,000 OR 25,630 years!!!!!!
Wrong. What does happen over a period 26,000 years is precession of the equinoxes, the "wobble" of Earth on its axis. The Solar System can never "align" with the Galactic Equator, because that equator runs through our Sun by definition. It is "on" it literally all the time.
Ignoring all that, if the poster has a margin of error of ~370 years, how does he know 2012 is the correct date?
